A Note To You From Us
2011 turned out to be a crazy year for us at Long Lake Adventures (check out the photos - photo gallery).
Although the pictures weren't updated as often as usual, we DID have a great season both hunting and fishing.
Long Lake performed as usual, offering up some beautiful lakers weighing in on an average of 13 pounds but the largest this summer was just over 18 pounds!! There was also a brilliant run of landlocks this summer with some grilse weighing up to 7 pounds.
Mud Lake was every catch and release fisherman's dream. Lakers up to 12 lbs, abundant landlock salmon and brookies on the fly; the action was spectacular.
Our spring hunt set new records again this year. Beautiful pelts and weights exceeding 550 lbs. made for an exciting and successful spring.
We were very flattered to host Mike Miller and the crew of Angler and Hunter TV. They filmed an entire episode with us last summer which included bear hunting, and fishing down at Mud Lake, all the while sharing some good laughs. Watch the full episode below:
